Corporation was established in 1982 to design and manufacture laboratory equipment basically for physiological and pharmacological research. Though economic situation and trading environment was rather restricted that time, these disadvantages were counterbalanced by strong innovative capacity and goal-oriented development and production. The intellectual capacity of the Company has been based on broad experience of research and development in wide range of fields such as physiology, pathophysiology, neuroscience, pharmacology and pharmaceutical engineering. This small and selected team successfully unites the scientific and engineering knowledge to produce innovative devices for scientific and applied research. Our fields of interest include, classical physiological recording (heart functions, blood-pressure -and -flow, respiration, temperature), isolated organ experiments (Langendorff- and Neely-heart, Magnus-preparation of intestines, vas deferens, kidney, etc.), biomechanical functions (striated and smooth muscle and vessel preparations), electrophysiological and other nervous recordings (EEG, evoked potentials, nerve conduction velocity, cell action potentials, myograph etc.).

EXPERIMETRIA products cover a wide range of devices, including amplifiers and couplers, transducers, organ baths and isolated organ chambers, perfusion systems, stimulators, ultra-thermostat, micromanipulators and holders, and software. We especially care for meeting the strict requirements set by the authorities for e.g. the pharmaceutical research and for other industrial and health professionals.

One of our goals has been flexibility in terms both of updating our products according to the growing needs and scientific development, and of giving the users a wide range of variability when selecting components of their systems. This is why EXPERIMETRIA's traditional lines have been modular allowing the experimenter to vary the set-up according to the need of the particular experiment. Recently, however, the spreading demand toward simple-to-use and handy equipment, we have developed a compact system consisting of fixed and pre-set units assembled by the company according to the specifications agreed with the prospective user. A special version of the compact line has been developed for educational purposes to be used in university laboratories and other educational institutes.

The last one and a half decade EXPERIMETRIA exhibited a significant growth both in the domestic and international market, being now present in more than 15 countries and many well-known and recognised companies, all over the world. Many of our products were evaluated by renowned laboratories including universities and pharmaceutical companies and have received excellent qualifications.

EXPERIMETRIA continues its innovative activity in co-operation with scientists and external advisors from most of the fast developing scientific areas but also keeps its initial goals: be simple, reliable and affordable.
