Cardiovascular Diagnostic Station


The Cardiosys H-01, developed by Experimetria Ltd, is a combined 12-lead ECG and portable non-invasive blood pressure monitor system with built-in software for registration and analysis.

The Cardiosys H-01, developed by Experimetria Ltd, is a combined 12-lead ECG and portable non-invasive blood pressure monitor system with built-in software for registration and analysis. The Cardiosys H-01, despite its compact design, has all the functions needed for complete cardiovascular examinations, provide backup, replay and re-analyzing possibilities. The continuous body temperature monitoring is an integrated part of the system, as well.

The basic set-up includes:
  • ECG recording at repose and during load
  • ECG curve analysis, calculating average from repetitive measurements
  • QT analysis from HR and RR  variables
  • QT dispersal calculation

Optional non-invasive blood pressure sensor is also available for the system. From the parameters of the blood pressure sensor and ECG signals the software is able to calculate the following data:
  • QT variability
  • Frequency analysis
  • Tpeak – Tend distance
  • Autonomous neuropatia examinations (Ewing-tests), parasympaticus function examination:
    • Change of heart rate in response to deep inspiration and expiration
    • Change of heart rate and blood pressure in response to standing up (30/15 ratio)
    • Change of heart rate and blood pressure in response to Valsalva manoeuvre
  • Sympaticus function examination:
    • Blood pressure decrease following standing up
    • Handgrip-test
  • Score

The software can run on laptops, notebooks, which can be obtained on the market nowadays, even on touch-screen systems. The portable feature makes possible that examinations can be carried out at patients’ home or in real conditions in workplaces or playing-fields.  Any kind of digital non-invasive blood pressure sensor can be connected and the system is able to calculate all values from it. Values are recorded and calculated during an examination can be exported from the software easily, which is a unique feature of the system.

  • Clinical pharmacological investigations (continuous cardiovascular monitoring, instant analysis and replay, without data storage limit)
  • Family doctors (mobility, portable device, recording ECG at patients’ home, rapid but detailed analysis for accurate diagnosis, all-in-one data files, which can be re-played anytime)

The patient’s personal data can be recorded in one panel. The heart rate and RR values can be seen continuously on the screen, blood pressure and body temperature values are displayed also when a digital blood pressure monitor and a digital thermometer connected to the system. The number of displayed leads can be 3-6-12, however, if needed just one, arbitrarily selected lead will be shown (I, II, III, aVR, aVL, aVF, V1-V6). The rate and amplification can be set in wide range (10 – 200 mm/sec and 5 – 50 mm/mV). The software has built-in filters for reducing the effect of noise (1-100 Hz) and breathing (1-10 Hz). The recording period can last for predefined number of heart beats or for predefined time period. The lead from there the heart rate will be calculated can be selected, even the area of the curve for calculation can be set.
There are two modules for analysis. In the first one time and amplitude analysis can be executed with one-cursor mode, which selects every channel at once or separated channels if needed, respectively (Common, Separated Cursor). Furthermore, there is an automatic ECG analysis mode for every cycle or for averaged data including the following parameters: R-R, HR, Pmax, Qmax, Rmax, Tmax, ST, PQ, QRS, and QT. A highlighted function of the software is the QT analysis in the function of RR and HR values.
 
The calculated values are stored in a data sheet form. The values and the selected area of the primary curves as well can be exported to any kind of databases or statistical software (e.g. Excel, SAS, SPSS, etc.) for further analysis or presentation.
