ISO-07-TSZ2D Thermostated tissue bath for diaphragm-phrenic nerve preparation (2 channel)

This system offers a handy, comfortable operation from the control of buffer in-, and outflow through the precision bubbling of carbogen to easy tissue preparation, stimulation and easy calibration of chamber volume. The temperature is kept with 0.1 ۫C accuracy in the container. The bath can be connected to a circulating pump, which provides even more stable (0.01 ۫C) temperature maintenance. As the baths is not equipped with heated reservoir, a built-in reservoir coil serves to avoid pouring cold buffer into the chamber during buffer change.

PND-01 type organ holder was designed for investigation of neuromuscular blocking agents on the rat phrenic nerve (hemi) diaphragm preparation. The method of preparation originates from the method of Bulbring (1946) and can be found in: Ian Kitchen: Textbook of in vitro Practical Pharmacology, pp. 79-83, by Blackwell Scientific Publications, 1984, ISBN 0-632-01216-1.
PND-01 organ holder is equipped with electrodes for both direct nerve or muscle stimulation and built in oxygenation. Organ holder fits to a 50 ml chamber.
