LF-21-WHN Isolated working heart systems according to Neely

  • for small mammalian hearts (mouse, rat, hamster, rabbit)
  • working (Neely) and non-working (Langendorff) options in one device
  • pacing possibility
  • control of LVDP, coronary flow and cardiac output by varying the left atrial filling pressure and the hydrostatic pressure in the aorta
  • measurement of heart rate, atrial and ventricular pressure, cardiac output
  • ports for drug administration
  • ports for sensor connections
  • tissue can be quickly frozen for biochemical investigations

The Neely type working heart model is preferred in such cases, when achieving a higher level of mechanical activity and measurement of external work performance is necessary.
Experimetria Neely type working heart perfusion device is the combination of classical Langendorff (non-working) and Neely type (working) options.

As a new development for all heart perfusion setups a special MAP sensor is available.
