LF-11-LF1 and LF-12-LF2 Perfusion systems for isolated, small mammalian hearts according to Langendorff

  • retrograde perfusion of isolated heart of mouse rat, guinea pig, hamster, rabbit
  • constant pressure or constant flow mode application on the same devices
  • equipped with two buffer columns for using different solutions
  • aortic pressure up to 120 mmHg
  • ports for measurement of pressure, flow, temperature surface potential and for drug injection/infusion
  • continuous filling of buffer columns with a pump
  • continuous carbogen bubbling
  • water jacked system

This basic Langendorff system is suitable for "in-vitro" investigation of the heart of small animals, such as rat, hamster, guinea pig and rabbit. The system is available for the adjustment of generally used basic methods with the help of supplementary units. Devices are available for using constant pressure or constant flow. The system is also equipped with latex balloon and spindle syringe for LVP measurement.
As a new development for all heart perfusion setups a special MAP sensor is available.
